The Department of International Relations and European Integration of the National University of Political Studies and Public Administration (NUPSPA) is pleased to announce the Opening Conference of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence In and Out: Understanding the European Union beyond its Borders, co-financed by the European Commission through the Erasmus+ Programme.
The event, titled EU border management in Romania, Ukraine and Republic of Moldova, is scheduled for Thursday, December 10th 2015, at 12.30 pm, room 804.
The event will gather researchers, teachers, students, civil society representatives, public administrators, experts from Romania, Ukraine and Republic of Moldova and it will represent a good occasion in order to stimulate the dialogue regarding border management, in the context of recent regional instability that exert pressure on Eastern borders of the European Union. The thematic adopted for the conference will gather discussions regarding the crisis in Ukraine and the security implications for Republic of Moldova and Romania; vulnerabilities, risks and threats at the eastern frontiers of the European Union; cooperation mechanisms in border management in Romania, Ukraine and Republic of Moldova, etc.
