The program responds to specific needs arising from the integration of Romania into the European Union by connecting academic debates and research directions in the area of Romania to the EU, in order to overcome existing gaps and to contribute to a better understanding of the general public, the European Union and the international system which Romania is part of.

These acquired skills can be applied in national/international, private/governmental structures, but also through the involvement of students in the activities  developed within the Centre for European Studies, which is an integrated part of the National University.
